The slowest part of KOL campaign reporting usually isn't the analysis. It's the collecting: chasing every creator for post links, asking for Insights screenshots, then copying numbers into a spreadsheet by hand. Connector Club automates that step. Creators submit posts straight from their linked social accounts, data is read through the official Meta, TikTok and YouTube APIs, and on Premium and above the whole campaign's post data is compiled into a report automatically. That leaves your time for the question that matters: which creators are worth working with again.
Manual reporting vs automated reports
Two ways to report
Manual
- Chase each creator for links: about 3 hours of screenshots
- Screenshots can be edited, and every creator shares different numbers
- Post links are scattered across WhatsApp and email
- Each creator's numbers are typed into a spreadsheet and added up by hand
Connector Club
- Creators pick posts from their linked accounts, or paste the post link
- Data comes from official platform APIs, not screenshots
- Every post sits inside the campaign, grouped by creator
- Automated campaign reports (Premium and above)
How data gets into the report
A report is only as trustworthy as its data. On Connector Club, that chain starts the moment a creator links an account.
From linked account to campaign report
- Creators link their accountsthrough official authorisation for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube, so you can see followers, engagement rate and top posts.
- Draft approved, post publishedyou approve a draft, the creator moves to posting and publishes on their own account.
- Post submittedthe creator selects the post from their linked account's recent feed, or uses Upload by Link to paste its URL.
- Completion confirmedyou check the post meets the brief and click Confirm Completion, or click Reject Completion with a reason.
- Report compiledon Premium and above, data from every creator's submitted posts is compiled into a campaign report.
Official API data covers only Meta (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok and YouTube. Xiaohongshu and Threads are not API partners, so measure posts there by asking creators for their in-app analytics screenshots, or with your own tracking links and discount codes.
Which numbers to look at
A report should answer two questions: did the audience respond, and was each dollar well spent? These are the metrics most brands use.
Common creator report metrics
- Engagement rate (ER)(likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ followers. Use the same formula for every creator you compare; check it with the engagement rate calculator.
- Cost per engagement (CPE)creator fee ÷ engagements. Put each creator's quotation next to their post engagement to compare them one by one.
- Reach and impressionshow many people saw the content, which feeds into earned media value (EMV). There's no standard EMV formula, so use your own ad CPM.
- Clicks and salesset up a UTM link or unique discount code for each creator beforehand and track them on your own site or till.
For return on investment, calculate (gross profit from creator sales − creator fees) ÷ creator fees, which needs those UTM links or codes in place before the posts go live.
When to collect data
Reporting timeline
- 24 hours after posting: early engagement, to decide whether to put ad spend behind the content
- 7 days after posting: reach, engagement and clicks have mostly settled, the right time for the campaign report
- 30 days after posting: sales from UTM links and discount codes
- End of each round: compare the same creator across rounds and decide the next roster
For comparing rounds in a long-term programme, see always-on programmes.

Exporting creator lists and plans
Alongside campaign reports, Premium and above can export creator lists for internal records or sign-off, and Pro adds more downloads and exports.
Automated campaign reports start on Premium (US$89 a month). On Standard (US$39 a month) you can still see each creator's submitted posts inside the campaign, without the automated report. Pro (US$489 a month) suits teams managing several brands or many campaigns. See the pricing page.
FAQ
What should a KOL campaign report include?
At minimum: each creator's posts, reach, engagements, engagement rate and cost per engagement. If the goal is sales, add UTM link clicks and discount code redemptions.
Where does Connector Club's report data come from?
Creators link their Meta, TikTok or YouTube accounts through official authorisation and submit posts from those accounts, so the data comes from the platforms' official APIs, not from creators' own figures or screenshots.
Which plan includes automated reports?
Premium (US$89 a month) and above include automated campaign reports and creator-list exports.
Can Xiaohongshu and Threads posts be tracked automatically?
No. Xiaohongshu and Threads are not API partners, so Connector Club has no data for them. Ask creators for analytics screenshots, or track with UTM links and discount codes.
How do I calculate KOL ROI?
ROI = (gross profit from the creator's sales − creator fee) ÷ creator fee × 100%. It needs UTM links or discount codes set up before posting.
