Find Influencers in Hong Kong: Search, Filter and Vet KOLs in One Place

Find influencers in Hong Kong without scrolling Instagram. Filter 35,500+ creators, check official API data, then save and export your KOL list.

To find influencers in Hong Kong, the slow part isn't finding names. It's confirming that the people you find are worth working with: real followers, steady engagement and an audience that fits your brand. Connector Club's Influencer Search lets Hong Kong brands filter 35,500+ creators, see data read through the official Meta, TikTok and YouTube APIs, then save the right ones, add them to a campaign or export them as a KOL list.

Three ways Hong Kong brands find KOLs

There are three routes: search Instagram hashtags one profile at a time, ask an agency for a list, or search a KOL platform yourself. For one or two creators, doing it yourself still works. Once you're comparing dozens of candidates, searching and collecting screenshots becomes the main job. For the trade-offs between routes, see KOL platform vs DIY and KOL platform vs agency.

Scrolling Instagram vs Influencer Search

Searching Instagram yourself

  • Hashtags and "suggested accounts", one by one: about 5 hours for a first shortlist
  • Follower counts are visible, but you calculate engagement post by post
  • Audience and performance data means asking creators for screenshots
  • The shortlist ends up spread across spreadsheets, WhatsApp and bookmarks

Using Connector Club

  • Filters list suitable creators instantly
  • Followers, engagement rate and top posts come from official APIs
  • 4,800+ creators are real-name verified (as of August 2026)
  • Saving, adding to a campaign and exporting all happen in one place

Filtering Hong Kong creators with Influencer Search

Inside each campaign, "Recruit Creators" opens the Influencer Pool, which has three tabs. Influencer Search filters the full creator database. Campaign Ad (Applicants) lists creators who applied to your public campaign. My Favorite holds the creators you've bookmarked.

From search to invitation

  1. Set your filtersnarrow by platform, category and follower count, and decide whether you want nano, micro or mid-tier creators.
  2. Review each profilecheck followers, engagement rate and top posts from the creator's linked accounts, and judge whether their style fits your brand.
  3. Save or addbookmark the maybes in My Favorite and add the definites straight to the campaign.
  4. Click Contact Nowadded creators show as "Uncontacted" until you click Contact Now, which sends the first message inviting them to quote.
  5. Compare quotationsnegotiate in the same conversation, and click Resubmit if you'd like a creator to send a revised price.

If the campaign is public, creators will also apply on their own. You can run both at once: search for the creators you have in mind while working through the Applicants tab, which often turns up good fits you hadn't noticed.

Official API data instead of screenshots

The usual approach is to ask creators for Insights screenshots, but screenshots can be edited and every creator shares something different. On Connector Club, creators link their Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube accounts through official authorisation, so the data comes straight from the platform. Each platform also has a minimum follower threshold, and accounts below it can't be linked.

Official API data covers only Meta (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok and YouTube. Xiaohongshu and Threads are not API partners, so creators found there still need manual checks. See our Xiaohongshu and Threads pages for practical tips.

A checklist for vetting creators

Once you trust the data, the next question is whether the creator suits you. Before sending an invitation, check:

Before you invite

  • Is the engagement rate in line with Hong Kong benchmarks for that tier? (Check with the engagement rate calculator.)
  • Do the top posts match your brand's tone and subject matter?
  • Is engagement steady across recent posts, without odd one-off spikes?
  • How do past sponsored posts perform compared with everyday posts?
  • Is the creator real-name verified, especially for anything involving an offline event?
  • Is the likely fee reasonable? Get a starting point from the KOL rate estimator.
  • Does your brief spell out deliverables and dates?

Saving and exporting your KOL list

Many brands searching for a "KOL list Hong Kong" really want a shortlist they can circulate internally and get signed off. On Connector Club you can keep candidates in My Favorite and invite them again when the next campaign starts. Premium and above can export creator lists, and Pro adds more downloads and exports.

A static list goes stale quickly, because followers and engagement change every month. Rather than buying a list, search again when you need one and the numbers are current.

Pricing and how many creators you can work with

Standard (US$39 a month) lets you work with 50 creators at once. Premium (US$89 a month) raises that to 200 and adds creator-list exports. Pro (US$489 a month) has no limit and includes unlimited creator search. You negotiate with creators directly, and the platform takes no cut. See the pricing page.

FAQ

Where can I find influencers in Hong Kong?

You can search Instagram hashtags yourself, go through an agency, or filter creators on a KOL platform. Connector Club has 35,500+ creators with data from official APIs, so you can compare them side by side.

Is there a free list of Hong Kong KOLs?

Lists that circulate online rarely include data and go out of date fast. Searching a platform shows current follower and engagement numbers. On Premium and above you can export your results as a list.

How do I know a creator's data is real?

Creators on Connector Club link their Meta, TikTok or YouTube accounts through official authorisation, so followers, engagement rate and top posts come from the platform, not from the creator.

Does a creator get notified as soon as I add them?

No. Added creators show as "Uncontacted". They are contacted only when you click Contact Now in Campaign Management, which invites them to quote.

Can brands see a creator's real name?

No. Real-name verification is handled by the platform, and brands see the creator's display name.

Can I see official data for Xiaohongshu creators?

No. Official API data covers Meta, TikTok and YouTube only. For Xiaohongshu, use manual checks; see the Xiaohongshu KOL page.
